"We drove so did not use public transport. The roads were fine though.
We absolutely adored the town of Cisternino. The surrounding area where our Trulli home was exquisite. There was so much to see and do within 30 minutes of the house, towns, beaches, historic sites. The local people were so kind and helpful. The food and winsome ( and gelato) was something else.
What a wonderful, beautiful place. "

"What I particularly enjoyed about Cisternino was its authenticity – it gave us a real insight into how people live in Puglia. We’ve visited lots of places in Puglia but have never found this kind of authenticity before, and that’s exactly what we were looking for"

"Il paesino, soprattutto la parte storica, è molto bello. Apprezzabile il parco con vista sulla valle e con un bel angolo giochi per i più piccini. L'accoglienza è stata molto buona da parte di tutti, dai proprietari dell'alloggio (carinissimi) a quasi tutti gli operatori del settore. Unica nota dolente, i rifiuti, non tanto in paese ben attrezzato di cestini x la differenziata, quanto piuttosto lungo le strade statali e di collegamento. Davvero un peccato, problema riscontrato un po' ovunque, manca davvero la buona educazione. Vacanza comunque bellissima, grazie mille!"

"Great location to bounce around North Puglia . The old town is very nice , they had the best meat restaurants from all the surrounded cities .
The trullo where we stayed was great, and suprisily modern and functional Hopefully we will be back soon .
